Day 1- Arrive In Leh

  • Today we arrive in leh, Since the Capital of the province is located at a higher altitude, we spend today taking strolls in the market and resting up that would help acclamatise for the adventure that beholds us.

Day 2 – Leh & Around

  • When we think of ladakh the pre conceived notion is of the fact that Ladakh is all the mainland ladakh and beyond LEH. So we take you in and around Leh today, where we take you and introduce you into what Ladakh can offer.
  • We Take you to sights like, Magnetic Hills, The Sangam Confluence & the famed
    Patharsahib Gurudwara. On the way back to Leh we make a patriotic stop at the Leh Memorial where
    we hear stories from the Brave hearts of India itself.

Day 3 – Leh to Tso Moriri via (Puga Valley)

  • Today is a 8 hour drive as we head south to one of the most serene lakes in the country, but before we head there we pay our visits to Thiksey Monastery one of the most beautiful monastery within the
    ladakh region. After lunch at a small café tucked in the dusky barren spiti land we make our to the Puga
    Valley.
  • Puga gives you the feeling of being in an absolutely mystical land with some of the most surreal
    landscapes in the country. This place is famous for its Geothermal formations in the green against the
    backdrop of the mountains in the brown topped with snow caps. We spend a little time here exploring &
    walking around capturing the beauty of this valley.
  • Around 4pm we have our first view of the Beautiful Tso Moriri in the far, as we drive beside it for almost 6kms and laying halt at our beautiful stay for the night. We spend a little sitting on the rooftops today as we watch the Sun set over the lake.

Day 4 – Tso Moriri to Hanle

  • If theres one route and place I had to choose in all of my travel memories its this route between Tso Moriri and Hanle that I would regard as one of the most scenic day journeys in the world. A small driving day of about 5 hours, we come across some of the most beautiful villages enroute Hanle.
  • As we reach Hanle, after a quick break for snacks, we make our way to the Hanle Observatory, one of only space observatories in India. Hanle because of its high Altitute and clean air, happens to be a
    heaven for stargazers and astro-photographers as it offers year our clear night sky and just so happens,
    we stay up late at night tonight under the night sky and watch the moonlight set and witness the rise of
    the Milky-way from the Horizon. This night is surely going to leave a mark and be inked in your travel
    memories as you witness the true beauty of the Nature.

Day 5 – A day trip to Umling La ( World’s highest Motorable
Road)

  • People still think, Khardung La is the highest motorable road, however that Title lies with Umling La which sits at an Elevation of 19,300 Ft.
  • Behold the route to this Mighty pass as we pass through the quaint villages and natural landscapes as we head to this might road today and come back to Hanle.

Day 6 – Hanle to Pangong Tso

  • As we head to the famous lake of Pangong Tso , we drive through and make a stop at the beautiful Rezang la War Memorial that acts as a memorial and a tribute to the 113 brave Indian Soldiers that stood ground and faced off with a huge battalion of Chinese Soldiers. The Memorial acts as a testimony of valour and bravery of the Indian Army and is the perfect way to start the day.
  • As we make way to the Famous Lake which is 30% within India we also drive by the Mountain range that acts as the natural border between India and China. The Pangong Tso from the Merak village side is a sight to behold and you get to see the might and natural beauty of the lake in its full glory.
  • Todays stay offers spectacular of the Lake as we sit back, relax and spend time at the shores.

Day 7- Pangong Tso to Diskit

  • Today we make way to the final sector of the Ladakh Circuit, the Nubra Valley, the landscapes change and you see a totally different setting of ladakh.
  • The Village of Diskit is our home for the next two days as we explore the beautiful valley. Diskit houses the famous Diskit Monastery that offers spectacular views of the Valley.
  • The hotel we stay in today is a beautiful setting , just a few minutes walk from the Market which we would be walking around and taking a stroll across.

Day 8- Turtuk Village & Hunder Dunes

  • Today we head up north into the Ladakh region to visit the Last Village of India Turtuk, Turtuk is a beautiful village famed for its apricot blossoms and also narrow beautiful alley ways. We would spend a few hours in this village along with a delicious lunch, we would then head to this beautiful vantage point from where on a clear day we get to see the Indian and Pakistan Army Camps.
  • On our way back to the hotel, we also come across the famous sand dunes of the Hunder, take a joyride on the camels or indulge in other activities or just sit across and watch the camels over the sand dunes as the sun sets making it for a surreal scene.

Day 9- Nubra Valley to Leh

  • As we near end to our trip today, we make our way from Diskit enroute Khardung La, one of the highest roads in the world and then we arrive in leh where we explore the market by evening and end the nightreminiscing all the memories and share a moment with fellow traveler.
